On December 15, a training workshop was held for the customers of Bank Vostok on the organization of listing and admission to trading on the London Stock Exchange.

The workshop was organized by Bank Vostok and the London Stock Exchange. Among the partners and speakers of the event there were leading industry experts, representatives of: KPMG, the international network of independent firms providing audit, tax and legal services; Renaissance Capital, the investment banking and financial group, Baker&McKenzie, the international law firm.

The participants of this educational event were the customers of Bank Vostok interested in the IPO process, more than 10 key companies of Ukraine, leaders in various business areas.

The workshop began with a welcoming speech of Vadym Morokhovskyi, the Chairman of the Management Board of Bank Vostok, and then Ayuna Nechaeva, the Head of European Primary Capital Markets, introduced the participants in more details to the London Stock Exchange, to the advantages of listing on the stock exchange in general, and to the latest trends in the UK capital markets.

The representative of the primary capital markets of the CIS and Central Asia countries, Kateryna Horbatiuk, paid special attention to the requirements for admission to the main market and AIM, and the nuances of attracting debt financing.

Furthermore, the participants of the workshop received useful information about the preparation for the IPO process, namely about the requirements for companies, expert assessments and documentation. They discussed with experts the timing and key stages of the IPO process and the importance of interaction with investors. Maksym Khrapov, the Senior Associate of the international company Baker&McKenzie, told the participants about the legal aspects, the prospectus and the regulatory process.

Bank Vostok plans to keep on going and actively continue promoting its customers to the global banking system, inform Ukrainian companies about possible ways to enter international capital markets, while sharing cases of successful experience of the largest international companies.
